According to court dockets, Davis Long, born 1989, pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony first-degree sodomy and two counts of felony armed criminal action on Monday, July 14.

The felony complaint filed in early May of this year says the crimes occurred around February of 2020 and May of 2020.

Long used the assistance and aid of a deadly weapon to have deviate sexual intercourse with a juvenile victim, according to the complaint.

Long was booked in the Cedar County Jail without bond after charges were filed in May, but he was granted a $75,000 surety bond with house arrest conditions in June.

Long is due in court for a case management conference next month on Sept. 8. His defense has requested a change of venue.
