Eureka Springs woman dies after crashing into tree
A 76-year-old woman from Arkansas has died in a single-vehicle accident in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Monday, Dec. 23, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. -- A 76-year-old woman has died in a single-vehicle accident in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Monday, Dec. 23, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
The crash report states that at approximately 3:50 p.m., Hazel Daines of Eureka Springs was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee north on 3492 State Highway 23 when the Jeep traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Daines was transported to Eureka Springs Hospital and later died from her injuries. The next of kin have been notified of her passing.
The crash was investigated by Arkansas State Police.
