Lynn resident is first $1 million winner in new Colossal Millions game
DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) - A woman from Lynn is the first to claim a $1 million prize in the new "$15,000,000 Colossal Millions" instant ticket game.
Sammantha Kheav-Pech claimed her winnings at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester on Monday. She chose the cash option on her prize, receiving a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.
When asked what she plans to do with her winnings, Kheav-Pech said she plans to share her prize with her family and save the rest. She purchased the ticket at 7-Eleven, located at 50 Bass Avenue in Gloucester. The store received a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
The new "Colossal Millions" instant ticket game went on sale on April 15.
