Webster County Sheriff's Office searching for information in Marshfield theft

MARSHFIELD, Mo. — Residents in Marshfield are looking for information after a burglary on Saturday, July 5.

According to a Webster County Sheriff's Office social media post, a white SUV was seen on security footage driving past a home south of Marshfield five times while homeowners were away on July 5. The driver of the vehicle is described as a 50-year-old white man.

Law enforcement reports that $2,000 and a 9mm Taurus handgun were stolen from the property.

The driver was parked down the road before the burglary and left at a high rate of speed on the final visit to the home, the post says.
