Bridge closures on I-44 to impact Pulaski County travelers

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. — Two bridges are planned to close over I-44, which will affect travelers over the next couple of months.

According to a Pulaski County Sheriff's Office social media post, Pulaski County Route 28 will close on Aug. 18 in St. Robert and Phelps County Route D southwest of Doolittle will close on Aug. 25.

The post says that ramps at Exit 172 on Route D and Exit 163 on Route 28 will remain open during the closure, with a signed detour to guide motorists around the closure.

Both bridges are planned to reopen to the public around the end of October.
