Fatal crash in Jasper County claims life of Asbury man
A 50-year-old man from Asbury died after being ejected from his vehicle when it overturned on County Road 260 in Jasper County, Mo. on August 1.
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Asbury died from his wounds after crashing his vehicle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), on August 1, at 10:30 p.m., a 50-year-old man driving on County Road 260 ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle.
He was transported to a local hospital in Joplin, where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is Troop D's 70th fatality for 2025.
