CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — An Illinois man has died following a single-vehicle car crash in Camden County on Saturday, July 12.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, a 54-year-old Bartonville, Illinois man has died following a car crash at around 12:45 a.m. on Route F, less than a mile south of Route TT on Saturday.
MSHP says the crash occurred when the man was driving south in a 2022 Subaru Ascent when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway. The man's vehicle struck a tree and overturned.
The man was pronounced deceased on the scene. The next of kin has been notified.
This is the first fatality for July and the 20th fatality for MSHP Troop F in 2025.
