LEBANON, Mo. — The Lebanon Police Department (LPD) announced yesterday that Sidney Fredrick Wilson V, 25, of Stoutland, has been charged with the murders of 21-year-old Reagan Lynn Wilson and her unborn son.

Reagan was shot at her Lebanon home in June 5. She was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. She was pregnant at the time of the shooting, and her baby, Silas, died June 13.
Wilson — who was the father of Silas and Reagan's husband, although they separated in December of 2024 after she left him— was arrested at a residence in Nixa on Thursday, July 31.
The probable cause statement filed in court today says a doorbell camera in the area of the June 5 crime captured the sounds of gunshots. The redacted number of shots fired occurred in a six-second timeframe.
“Through my training and experience, I know that whenever that many shots are fired towards one person, the suspect typically knows the victim personally and is considered ‘overkill,’” an LPD officer wrote in the statement.
Police received video footage from a residence near the scene of the crime that captured a male subject wearing a camo-colored hoodie-type shirt, a face covering, and gloves, per the statement.
An LCSO deputy who knew Wilson well believed that the person in the video was Wilson because of the way he was walking.
In comparing the residence surveillance video footage to another video obtained from a Goodwill store that Wilson had visited recently, the walking pattern of the person in both videos appeared to be “very similar,” the statement says.
On June 7, investigators conducted their initial interview with Wilson.
Wilson disclosed that he had previously owned a redacted model of a firearm, but he told investigators he sold the firearm to an unknown individual around April. Wilson said the individual had sat down with him as he was eating, and they had an hour-long conversation, per the statement.
However, surveillance footage from that supposed sales meeting shows Wilson ordering his food and leaving the business. “He never sits down and never communicates with anyone other than the employees,” the statement says.
Additionally, the bullets found at the crime scene were compatible with the weapon Wilson owned, per the statement.
Investigators found discrepancies in Wilson’s timeline of his location and activities around the time of Reagan’s death.
The statement says on June 12, Wilson was interviewed a second time and gave consent for investigators to search his cell phone. His cell’s GPS data showed he left his residence at around 10:30 p.m. on June 5 and was on I-44 heading towards Lebanon.
“The data then drops off as if the location data was manually shut off,” the statement says.
The statement also notes that during the time Wilson was at the hospital, nobody heard him ask about the status of the victim, and he also never asked about the status of the investigation and if a suspect was being located.
“He only asked about when he could get his vehicle back,” the statement says.
Wilson is due in court on Aug. 4. He’s being held in the Laclede County Jail without bond.
