LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. -- A polling place in Marionville is being forced to change venues for the August 5th special election.
According to a social media post from the Lawrence County Office of Emergency Management, the Buck Prairie voting location at First Baptist Church in Marionville is being moved to the Marionville Fire Station at 101 South Central Avenue.
The Marionville City Fire Department (MCFD) says the move is due to a gas leak at First Baptist Church.
MCFD says anyone with questions should call Kris Bowling at 417-229-5013.
