Marshfield man charged for attempted sodomy

STONE COUNTY, Mo. — A Marshfield man has been charged following an alleged attack on Monday, July 28.

According to online court dockets, Noah Richardson, born 2006, has been charged with first-degree attempted sodomy and first-degree attempted assault.

The probable cause statement says that the Stone County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a location regarding a report of violent behavior on early Monday morning.

Law enforcement was told that Richardson had attacked someone and had been acting violently.

Officials were told by a victim and witnesses that the victim had been lying in a bunk when Richardson jumped on the bed and started attacking them in a "sexual manner."

One of the individuals believed that Richardson was joking around, but then realized that the victim was being attacked. The person was able to get Richardson off the victim and got them out of the room.

They later returned to the room where they found Richardson next to the bed with the lights off. The group described to law enforcement that Richardson had a "demonic and strange look on his face."

The individuals began to leave to room when Richardson met them at the door. Richardson punched a victim in the face, which resulted in a split on the right cheek.

Richardson grabbed another victim and shoved them into the corner of the room where he began punching the victim in the face.

The victims were able to get away from Richardson and called law enforcement.

The report said one of the victims was found to have a cut and a bruise on their cheek.

Richardson is currently in Stone County Jail with a $500,000 bond.
