Hiring event at OTC Richwood Valley in Nixa Thursday

NIXA, Mo -- Job seekers in Christian County and surrounding areas are invited to the hiring event on Thursday, July 31, hosted by the Missouri Job Center in partnership with the Christian County Library.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main lobby of OTC’s Ridgewood Valley Campus, located at 3369 W. Jackson St. in Nixa. Over a dozen companies are set to be there looking to hire workers. Those include:

The Missouri Job Center at 1661 N. Boonville in Springfield is available to help individuals prepare for interviews, polish résumés, and access job readiness resources.

Those in need of interview-appropriate clothing can stop by the Career Closet, open during regular hours, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Friday, the hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
